Position Summary (Remote, Full-time) :

We are looking to hire a technical support / DevOps engineer for a remote job to support our customers and our infrastructure. The role requires knowledge of VoIP, IP networking, basic Linux skills, and a strong operational focus.
The ideal candidate will be a person with good communication skills and technical troubleshooting skills. You must be able to speak English.
The candidate will provide technical support for the Cisco / Asterisk / 3CX products. Desirable to have Cisco CCNA/CCNP / AWS certification.

Required qualifications and desired technology skills:

2+ years of experience engineering or supporting medium-scale production voice networks.
Experience with Cisco Routers & Switches is a plus.
Experience with IP PBX telephone systems: Asterisk (1+ years is a must).
Experience with Linux command line and ability to read shell scripts (+1 year is a must).
Advanced Linux administration skills and knowledge of programming languages like Python / Go / PHP are a big plus.
Hands-on experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL is a plus.
Knowledge of TCP / IP protocols suite, SIP / SDP, RTP
A clear understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
Network analysis and troubleshooting: Wireshark / EtheReal / Tcpdump applications. Ability to analyze call dumps.
A desire to learn new technologies and programming languages.

Position Duties and Responsibilities :

Customer technical support: closing email trouble tickets, answering phone calls, work with the support team on new customers' setup, fixing existing issues.
Infrastructure support. Configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup, automation of network devices and servers.

Development, deployment, configuration, testing new services and features.

Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from clients or other employees
Troubleshoot/analyze computer systems to identify and eliminate performance bugs and hardware malfunction
Assist management in creating training materials on computer troubleshooting and usage
Organize and file documentation and instructional guides for computer hardware
Maintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as date of completion
Attend virtual meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware or software problems.
Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of computer networks
Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications
Experience with Cloud, Server, VOIP, website, IOS, and Android Application Management
Ensure the security of an organization’s IT database by performing backups and updating security protocol
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with a co-worker, customers, and clients
Maintain detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them
Must maintain a log of ticket generation and problem-solving.
Collaborate with programmers, developers, and designers to achieve set objectives
Bachelors in IT a MUST and 2-3 years of experience.

English proficiency is MUST

Shift Timing:

05:00 Pm To 02:00 Am

06:00 pm to 03:00 am.
