We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our Marketing team! As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing videos to promote all of our expanding and innovative products across multiple brands. Important Notes:

a. This is not a position for people who're still trying to learn the basics of video editing. The selection process will involve a technical test on a live video call. Advanced video editing skills are necessary to be considered for this position.

b. A portfolio of past work (on youtube, vimeo, etc) is mandatory for application. Applications without a portfolio (at least 10 videos) will not be considered.

Applicants are required to only include work in the portfolio that they have produced independently.

Job Requirements

Manage and oversee all technical aspects of the video editing process
Regularly collaborate with internal teams to collect specifications of all jobs
Experience using video and editing equipment
Creative thinker with great time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Must be willing to be seen and featured in our product videos if needed
May be required to submit portfolio of work for consideration and pass the preliminary test to ensure skills are as stated.

Qualifications

Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project and bring them to life in tandem with the Videographer.
Experience editing various projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Proficiency in editing software programs i.e Adobe Suite; Adobe Premiere, After effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvement
Ability to video edit from rough cut to final product 
Desired Skills And Abilities
Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvement
Experience editing various projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Ability to oversee and co-manage all editing tasks, video shoots, schedules, physical product
Can work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and problem solve
Can work independently
Experience with product-based videos
Proficiency in DSLR cameras and basic shooting
Meet with buyers and stakeholders to ensure their message is clearly delivered
Able to work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment where projects are needed on a weekly basis
