We are looking for a bright and energetic technical writer with top-notch writing and editing skills to work closely with a state of the art team of IT enthusiasts.

Key Role

Must have excellent English and Technical writing skills in terms of language and sentence structure
Work with Enterprise Infrastructure team to obtain in-depth understanding of any client, product and documentation requirements
Provide technical knowledge and support to increase software usage by customers
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards of HiveWorx branding and is appropriate for the intended audience
Research, develop and document technical design specification and system requirement specifications (SRS)
Plan, develop, edit and organize operational procedures and user manuals via Ms Office
Review and analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content
Create tutorials to help end-users use a suite of applications
Write API documentation for developers to enable them to access select resources
Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
Determine the most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and edit technical information accordingly
Develop business flows, graphics and illustrations using Ms Visio to complement technical writing
Ad hoc duties as required by our software business
Engage in technical meeting with the SME's to ensure that the specialized and technical topics are appropriately discussed and addressed

Other Skills Required

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to details
A passion for making the best impact on the customer experience through the user material that is prepared, and the teamwork required to deliver it
Minimum of 2 years' experience in preparing technical and user documentation for software applications
Ability to learn new software applications quickly, analyse and synthesize information
Solid hands-on knowledge of MS Office and Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Manage/Jira
Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team, in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
