A. Corporate Planning & Systems
- Participate in development of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Implement, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures laid out.
- Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
- Participate in Strategic Financial Projects including upgrades to existing Projects.
- Continually reviews work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency; and potential issues in accounts, financial processes and controls and proactively raise management attention to act and resolve
B. Accounting & Finance
- Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).
Interacts at all levels and with owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal reports.
Provides support and input to project financial planning processes including monitoring progress.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Tax audit details preparation.
- Preparation and appraisal of working capital proposal.
- Fixing up arrangements of working capital.
C. Legal & Taxation
- Oversee Filing of Statutory Returns and attending tax authorities for assessments and appeals
Supervise Staff and ensure that Company’s Legal and Compliance matters are timely obliged and completed.
Review of Contracts/Agreements in accordance with Companies Polices with Local and offshore Vendors/Contractors.
Provide advice and review on financing agreements with Banks/Financial Institutions.
D. Treasury & Imports
- Supervise team to ensure timely clearance of Imported Equipment and Raw Material.
- Continuous monitoring of Exchange Rates and Final Settlement of Rates with Bank.
