CAD Engineer

Horizon Technologies is looking for a CAD Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, and SolidWorks. Designs products, creates and tests prototypes, and oversees other drafters.

Primary Responsibilities

Design frameworks for a project.
Design, develop and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
Work with industrial and packaging engineers to develop, manufacture, and market a product.
Analyze, design, and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal.
Create detailed design documentation.
Estimate time and costs required to complete the project.
Code and test software.
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standard
Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software.
Create designs for medicine, automotive, electronics, and the home.
Aid in the selection of materials for the products.
Produce final design specifications.
Supervise assistant drafters and other workers involved in the project design.
Ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance and procedural standards.

Job Requirements:

An associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Diploma or certificate in Auto CAD or other relevant fields.
Candidate will be Preferred with US, San Francisco based experience
Candidate with Matterport experience is a big plus
Use of hands to operate computers.
Extensive knowledge of the company’s preferred software.
Make decisions based on designs.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
Firm grasp of mathematics, engineering, and industry information.
Fluency in written & speaking English is a must

Note:

This is a third shift night job and the timing of this job will be 10:00 PM till 7:00 AM
