We are looking for the position of Mushroom Compost Production-In Charge

Resposbilities

Manage, organize and take responsibility for all labor requirements for composting.
Produce consistent, high yielding substrate for the production of Mushrooms.
Remain current with methods of compost production used in the Industry; including but not limited to compost fermentation and pasteurization.
Plan and supervise all testing functions required to assess composting methods
Work with the Director to troubleshoot any issues with Mushrooms Production that may generate in the Compost.
Conduct daily visual observation of compost condition with the staff.
Ensure correct filling of phase 1 and phase 2, accurate moisture levels of compost and consistent follow through on composting schedules.
Work to reduce waste in the compost division, manage labor efficiencies and machine reliability.
Address any issues on composting.
Successfully train composting staff.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned as required.
