Job Title: Doctor

Location: Ghazi Minara (Sheikhupura) , Tando Muhammad Khan

Reporting to: Regional Program Manager and Program Specialist Health

Introduction:

HDF is helping its partner communities in 34 districts of Pakistan through its holistic approach and integrated program model. Social Capital Development, Education & literacy, Primary Healthcare, Livelihood & Food Security and Sustainable Environment are key pillars of our program.

Objective: This position is responsible for overseeing all healthcare activity and to implement the HDF Health Program in Region as per HDF Health Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

The doctor will ensure implementation of all activities /Tasks of the health program at CHC and in the field are aligned with HDF policies, SOPs, and Standards of quality.
Examination of outdoor patients at CHC.
Referral of high-risk patients to a nearby appropriate health facility.
The doctor will ensure the Daily visits of CHWs.
Scheduled visits of LHV.
Monitoring visits to the program area to assess the performance of LHV and CHWs in the field.
The doctor will have to visit the field once a week.
Implementation of School Health Program.
To facilitate LHV in record /data keeping as per standards.

Doctor will ensure

Immunization of all less than 5 children according to the national EPI schedule.
TT immunization of WRAs & pregnant women.
Growth Monitoring of kids (under 5 years of age).
Conduction of Medical Camps.
Conduction of Health Seminar.
Health session with LHV, Lab tech & CHWs.
Capacity building of Health Staff (technical & nontechnical members)
Supervise and facilitate LHV for VA and data validation before reporting.

A doctor is responsible for

Preparation of demand/requisition for medical supplies.
Maintenance of Health Fund.
Implementation of infection prevention and infection control policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
With the help of RPM and the health team, she will ensure the implementation of HWMP.
Preparation, Analysis & correction & time data & progress sharing & a monthly basis in MPR.
Generation of a field monitoring report on specified Formats.
Liaison/linkage development with Govt Health Department.
Liaison/linkage with other like-minded NGOs working in the same region/area.
Maintenance of correspondence records with the HeadvOffice, Regions
Any other official task assigned by Supervisor (s)

Minimum Qualification:

MBBS, MD. Registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMC) with one-year house job. At least 1-2 years of working experience.

Post graduate diploma in sonology will be preferred
