iOS Developer

eddress is a technology startup specialized in digitizing addresses in developing countries. The idea is to transform an address into a 6 character code, or an "eddress", that can be easily shared with anyone.

We have developed more verticals based on the "eddress" and are currently tackling the consumer services and logistics management industries.

We are looking for an iOS Developer having the following responsibilties and skills:

Responsibilities

Design and build applications for the iOS platforms

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills

Good understanding of the Model–view–presenter (MVP) design pattern

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

Experience with Agile

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

iOS Development

Proficient with both Objective-C and Swift

Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

Experience with offline storage

Experience with multi threading and closures

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Familiarity with local and push notifications

Familiarity third party libraries e.g AFNetworking, Alamofire, Swinject and Fabric

Experience with Azure Mobile Services will be preffered

Good to Have:

Knowledge of Android SDK

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
