Job Brief

A business development manager, you'll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. This role involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

Key Deliverables:

  • Identify the new business development opportunities and potential partnership with Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for business expansion in company’s vision.
  • Managing the existing business partners, meeting them periodically, partner’s product portfolio analysis, prepare proposal of the products complimenting current portfolio.
  • Manage and participate in international and national exhibitions to represent and enhance company’s business.
  • Facilitate for negotiation and finalization of contracts for business Collaborating with the team to identify the opportunities and motivate them to have introductory cold call and online meeting.
  • Facilitate regulatory affairs for new product registration along with post registration variations. Build long lasting relationships with key industry decision makers that lead to new opportunities.
  • Keep competitors update by tracking regular meeting with regulatory affairs and IMS Creating departmental strategies, design job description and KPI for the team, training, evaluate the performance of the team.
  • Coordinate with marketing for portfolio gap analysis and induction of new products for company’s growth and future progress Strong coordination with marketing, regulatory affairs, corporate & legal , finance, supply chain department for completion of projects

Requirements: 

  • B.sc/BBA or MBA(Marketing)
  • 3 to 4 years of proven track record and experience in pharmaceutical markets, particularly in sales
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organizational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
