Program Planning

  • Provide direction and support to project team to adhere all quality standards during the program planning and implementation.
  • Prepare and implement Program Implementation/ Management Plan.
  • Prepare and review budgets of the program in consultation with operations and finance team.

Program Implementation

  • Ensure the smooth and optimum functions of the program, using personal initiative to push the program into the future and optimize activities.
  • Implementation of the program activities according to the program plan in coordination with program teams and provincial coordinators.
  • Ensure that the program deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.

Coordination

  • Develop strong liaison and collaboration with all stakeholders including Donors, Govt. Departments and NGOs working on education.
  • Coordination with resource persons including young authors, poets and actors Conduct field visit to provide guidance and leadership to program teams across Pakistan.

Program Monitoring

  • Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of the ongoing program deliverables according to agreed LFA and work plan and dissemination of findings among relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the program team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the program standards.

Resource Mobilization

  • Mobilize resources through proposal writing for new projects.
  • Create partnerships with public, private stakeholders, INGOs, and philanthropists to generate funding for the project initiatives.

Report Writing

  • Write all progress reports (summary and narrative): Monthly, Quarterly and annual report as per donor’s requirement.
  • Monthly update CLF management of program progress against set targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentation of project progress to stakeholders on monthly basis.

Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) was formed in 2000. ITAs primary focus is comprehensive education reforms beginning with public sector schools at all levels of education which are in a state of decay. It also works in other sectors of education, such as non-formal and literacy programs for disadvantaged groups like child labourers, women & minorities. Along with working with the government, ITA also collaborates with the corporate sector and international development agents. Currently, ITA is working with UNESCO, USAID, Unilever, and Oxfam, along with other partners. ITA focuses on influencing policy and systems in education. ITA has been greatly involved in the formulation of the Draft National Educational Policy, 2008. The current work and partnerships extend across Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Jhang, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Chakwal, Gujrat, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
