The person has to plans, directs, and coordinates the development of business proposals to potential and existing customers.

Should have experience of proposal working and public procurement.
Machining or engineering related medium to highly complex components, including setup and operation of a diverse range of machine tools; CNC Lathe experience desired.
Strong working knowledge and ability to organize and analyze engineering drawings, bills of material, material and process specifications, international standards and customer quality documentation.
Calculate production costs using established labor rates, material and processing price estimates
Lead cost estimating
Control of production jobs to include financial closure and liaison with manufacturing to report and improve processes.
