Responsibilities

Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for the company.
Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
Perform Code Review and Code Security Review activities before delivery according to development standards and deliver Code Review Reports

Requirements

4+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
Experience in developing mobile and web applications using modern cloud architectures.
Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles
Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
Solid testing experience including unit, integration testing. Appium, BDD is a plus
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine/Karma, Mocha, XCTest, etc.)
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
Strong understanding of Agile Methodology & Practices (Scrum / Kanban)
Exposure to Version Control & Continuous Integration / Continues Deployments tools
