Coordinate and discuss with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole.
Prepare proposals by planning, organizing, writing, managing and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Improve proposal responses by evaluating and modifying information to address specific requirements within each opportunity
Study and analyze historical data, and cost models to support proposal preparation efforts
Coordinate with teams in estimating and planning effort for proposals being prepared
Make sure to meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing and reviewing across cross-functional teams
Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with product and project managers
Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards and organizational best practices including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases
Conduct business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts to meet current and future business needs
Provides analytical assessment of competitive bid results against planned proposal budget and contribute to development of future business strategies
Review and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these processes
Communicate critical business risks and opportunities proactively and clearly to senior management
Support cross-functional teams in implementing the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any related issue
