Social Mobilizer - Data Entry

IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Baluchistan and Sindh provinces.

Recently, the IRC has launched a 5 years’ USAID’s Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Activity primarily in five selected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the objective to promote women’s social and economic empowerment through safe and dignified access to livelihoods opportunities, information, resources and services. The project will also facilitate NIC (National Identity Card) registration of 1.2 million women across 49 districts of Punjab, KP and Sindh in two years starting July 2020 by linking /bringing unregistered women at NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) and NADRA’s Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs). Acquiring NICs will be a first step for women in opening bank accounts, registering as voters, accessing credit, inheriting and owning property and accessing social protection benefits.

Job Overview/Summary: 

The IRC is seeking a multifaceted and self-motivated individual for the position of Social Organizer (SM). These Social Mobilizers will be mainly responsible to clean the data and upload it on the MIS, as per the requirements put forward by the Zonal Manager and the Senior Management.

Major Responsibilities:

• Facilitate supervisor in record keeping, data maintaining and cleaning the data hard and soft.

• Coordinate with social mobiliser for week and monthly data of NIC registration and develop summary reports of social mobilizers progress and c

• Prepare list of identified women as per formats and upload data as per assigned by supervisor and data team.

• Ensure quality data is uploaded and submitted through proper verification of identification and registration data

• Keep electronic record with online sharing facility and ensure security of data

• Share data with WEE authorized personnel to update and process data for NIC registration speedily.

• Work in close coordination with database, quality assurance and training team(s)

• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

A) Education:

FA/BA/Master (IT and computer science and familiar with Excel data management)

B) Work Experience:

At least 1-2 years’ of work experience in data entry, data cleaning, data analysis. Experience of working with Surveys/data collection using digital data handling system will be an advantage. Working for NIC registration will be preferred.

C) Proven Skills and Proficiencies:

• Good understanding of MS Excel

• Good data entry speed on the PMIS

• Good understanding of data handling

• Ability to live and work in stressful and insecure environments

• Well-developed social skills combined with the ability and desire to further develop local staff members

• Knowledge of issues relating to data management

• Some experience in coordinated government economic empowerment program.

• Knowledge and/or experience in data management, survey, or other related field of NIC registration.

Language Skills: Spoken Sindhi,  Urdu English and written English and Urdu
