IT Executive

Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments while maintaining the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of IT and system administration for operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specs. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management.

Implementing, configuring & maintaining server runtime environments, network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
Maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems, network and system security.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
installing and configuring server runtime environments along with other systems including PC hardware, software and printers.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Managing & troubleshooting computer users to determine the nature of problems
responding to breakdowns and subsequently repairing equipment and replacing parts
investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
IT System supervision Managing all IT procurement and maintaining records of software licenses
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Shift and on-call work may be required, particularly where computing equipment is in continual 24-hour operation.
