Assistant Manager - Marketing

1. Responsible for managing the Facebook page of Jalal Sons and keeping active with regular posts and pictures. Making sure most queries and posts and answered quickly. Posting offers and new items launches on Facebook.

2. Join all the different food forums with personal account for example “Foodies”, Lahore Food Forum” & “Punjab Food Authority” etc to stay on top of news about Jalal Sons and other restaurants for ideas. Promote Jalal Sons on these pages from a non-Jalal Sons account.

3. Manage Jalal Sons Instagram account.

Promotions:

1. Find ways to promote bakery and grocery items by development regular promotions and deals. Adhere to the maximum discount percentages for bakery and grocery items.

2. Create interesting banners and pamphlets for these promotions and make sure they are implemented at all our branches.

3. Liaise with relevant contacts for photoshoots and branding activities.

4. Follow other bakeries and supermarkets to stay on top of competitor promotions and where we can improve whilst being aware that of our target market and theirs. This can be done from Facebook, Newspapers, billboards, etc.

Branding:

1. Improve the quality of our packing with research and development in conjunction with packing with research and development in conjunction with packaging contacts.

2. Think of ways to make our packaging more appealing whilst being practical for all our products.

3. Make sure that the branding within the shops is done in an appealing and practical manner to convey the right message to customers.

4. Help to develop and implement menus in all outlets. (You may need to visit all outlets for this).

This role would also include other ad-hoc marketing tasks. You will also be responsible for dealing with packaging, branding and printing contacts as well as different store managers to make them aware of new offers, etc.
