What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
·        Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where the candidate will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products.
·        Understanding the role of sales team and channel which include Retail, Franchise, Sales & Distribution Supervisor and Area Managers.
·        Meet relevant team members including Channel Operations, Channel Performance and Trade marketing to get the idea of entire commercial planning.
·        Develop understanding of sales reports, Promo reports and come up with new ideas
·        Develop understanding of the Indirect Sales Channel, working environment, Channel strategy and planning
·        Develop understanding of Business Case and promo paper
·        Establish good relationship with relevant department teams e.g. Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Channel, Marketing and MFS Team
        
-Within 60 days, you will:
·       Design Business case for monthly channel promos
·       Managing Sales Commission budget and planning.
·       Develop thorough Indirect Sales understanding & help generate ideas that further build channel planning in line with strategic growth plan
·       Work on market study and come up with ideas which drive lucrative promos to matches the business needs & requirements.
·       Develop plan for channel expansions e.g. Distribution officer Rationalization, Numeric distribution, enablers analysis
·       Gain deep understanding of the competitor’s strategy & working and proactively propose counter measures

-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
·       Build understanding of designing lucrative Channel Promos & regular Post Promo Analysis for continues improvements
·       Have a complete Data analysis inferred from promo reports
·       Managing Commissions Budgets
·       MFS KPIs Target Setting (footprint expansion, BVS deployment)
·       Channel Forecasting
·       Troubleshooting Channel Queries
·       Analysis of franchises’ profitability and devise strategy to maximize growth

 A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already delivered on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to execution.Prior experience of on ground sales, rolling out sales promos will be preferred.
 
We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop business ideas and convert them into tangible results to strengthen our whole Retail and Franchise channel. The individual should have sound analysis skills, Sale Channel understanding, market trend analysis and relationship management skills; these skills are the cornerstone for this job role.
 
A bit about us:
Channel planning team is part of the Channel Distribution function within Commercial. The team is responsible to handle the indirect sales channel and service the business streams
 
 The structure of the team you will join is:
·       Channel planning and distribution(CPD) department consists of 4 sub functions
·       You will be part of a 5-member sub-team reporting to the head of Channel Planning (one of function in CPD department)
 
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
·       Successfully plan channel promos and growth strategies
·       To transform channel mind-set according to business needs and requirements
 
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
- Ability to build strong relationships with Regional Teams: Business Support managers, operation managers, Regional Directors
- Ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Finance, Marketing, Sales etc.
 
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
- Getting high market share
- Putting in place a robust channel strategy towards KPIs achievement and high revenue
 
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
- Should have worked in sales and distribution division
- Channel planning role
- Sales analysis using MS Excel, Power Query and other database tools
 
One must have technology the candidate should have.
Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement, the candidate must be able do data analysis via using power query and excel
 
Essential skills must have: 
·        Analytical Skills, Sound understanding of Retail Channel, MS Power Query, MS Power Point, MS Excel
·        Knowledge of on ground sales tools and effective utilization of sales tools.
·        Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
·       Firm grip of Sales management, Channel Planning, communication tools and relevant frameworks
·       High level of initiative and self-drive
·       Excellent communication and presentation skills
