What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
 
-      Within 30 days you will:
·        Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where the candidate will learn Jazz’s values, business and products
·        Meet relevant stakeholders and teams handling various business streams such as Pricing, Voice/VAS/Data, Market research, MFS, Digital channels etc.
·        Develop understanding of the Jazz brand, its philosophy, brand strategy and creative direction
·        Go through contracts of your prime agency partners
·        Build rapport with your prime agency.
·        Develop understanding of the PO/PR process and contract management
·        Get a thorough briefing on the ongoing projects relevant to your domain. Your manager and agency will aid your involvement.
 
-      Within 60 days, you will:
·        Establish a good relationship with relevant stakeholders e.g. creative, media, brands, digital and activation agencies along with printing vendors.
·        Get acquainted with the different regions Jazz functions in and the teams that manage them, as you will be in close coordination with them, especially for any regional plans.
·        Develop thorough consumer/industry understanding & help generate ideas that further build operational efficiencies in line with the strategic growth plan
·        Liaison with various business teams (Data, VAS, Voice, Mobile Financial Services) to fulfil their operational needs.
·        Work with agencies to develop, analyze, review and recommend solutions, which matches the business needs, & deliver on requirements.
·        Gain deep understanding of the competitor’s strategy & working and proactively propose counter measures
·        Have complete grasp and control of the ongoing projects. Take ownership.
 
-      90 days onwards you will:
·        Be developing and delivering Annual Operations Plans
·        From various business information sources (Business Intelligence Reports, Brand Health Trackers, Traffic, ARPU & churn figures) propose action items aimed at both long & short term objectives
·        Assist the Operations Manager in developing the annual Out of Home strategy (which could involve the usual media buying, creative Out of Home executions and/or long term deals and partnerships)
·        Development & Deployment, Portfolio Analysis, Target Audience Profiling, Consumer Insight Generation etc.
·        Steer the external partners of the operations management function which include creative, media, brand to ensure that all teams work in synergy
·        Pro-actively propose and ensure delivery for the digital, sponsorship, partnership & media platforms resulting in brand growth via alternate media vehicles
·        Manage Marketing ops Budgets for your domain
·        Closely monitor the successful ideas in the regional/global Telecom markets and evaluate them for local implementation.
  
A bit about you:
 
We are looking for someone with fresh ideas and a hunger to deliver on challenging projects; be able to learn quickly and be good at giving and implementing ideas which connect with the youth.
 
The primary job expected out of you will be to plan, manage and maintain the Out of Home Advertising for Jazz, nationwide. You will be expected to create and implement notable Out of Home marketing initiatives that help the brand grow. The initiatives must cater to the areas that are crucial to the business and have good ROI. You will be expected to understand and then productively challenge the normal practices in order to bring innovation to the table. You will be expected to come up with creative ideas for the Out of Home category that break the rut of the traditional and conventional executions.
 
Your role out of the entire team will have the most flexibility in terms of area targeting. Hence, it is important for you to work closely with the Region and the Agency (with the help of the Out of Home Rating System) understand the prime locations and our weak areas in order to plan efficiently (fill the gaps we have in the market). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining OOH assets that best resonate with our TG and business objectives. Along with handling ongoing Out of Home buying and management, you will be expected to discover new spaces in the market within your domain to reach our customers most effectively. The ideas you come up with must connect with the right customer at the right time and right place so that our marketing is relevant and strikes a chord with our target audience.
 
A bit about us:
 Marketing Operations is part of the Marketing Communication function within Marketing/Commercial division. The MarCom team is responsible for handling all brand portfolios and service requirements of different business streams. The team functions on the motto, ‘Passion, Delivery and Respect’.
 
The structure of the team you will join is: 
·        An 18-member team (including the department head) with 03 sub teams
·        You will be part of a 05-member sub-team reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations. Your line manager will be the OOH HOD. 
 
The two (02) main priorities of the team are: 
·        To maintain Jazz as the number one brand of the country while developing love for the brand
·        To ensure Jazz marketing operations delivers on business priorities and contributes to the bottom line – from planning and budgeting to execution and analysis.
 
Other stakeholders You will work with and the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration: 
-      You will be working closely with all members if the MarCom team for developing and executing daily tasks.
-      You should build strong relationships with External Teams: Activation, OOH, media, digital and creative agencies/partners.
-      You should build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Finance, Marketing, Sales, PR/CSR, procurement etc.
-      Strengthening of brand health, sales and revenue are consequences of a good relationship with above-mentioned stakeholders.
 
Principle requirements from You:
 Preferably a graduate with 2-3 years of experience.
 
Areas of expertise:
-      Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement; the candidate must have a good grasp of MS Excel and be able to develop top notch presentations
-      The candidate must be able to coordinate with vendors and agencies for smooth and timely executions.
-      The candidate must be able to travel to different areas in Pakistan if a business need arises.
 
Essential skills must have:
-      Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
-      Should be able to demonstrate leadership and team skills
-      Firm grip of business management, brand development and marketing communication tools and relevant frameworks
-      High level of initiative and self-drive
-      Excellent communication and presentation skills
-      Excellent project management skills.
