Description:
The Network Engineer would need to have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in managing, configuring and deploying complex network infrastructures. Candidate must have knowledge about Network operations and deployment, Directory services, Network Security and Cloud services. Responsibilities:
• Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.
• Design and implement new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment.
• Install, configure, test and maintain the operating systems, software applications and system management tools.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
• Organize and maintain complete IT hardware list.
• Pro-actively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, contingency plan, and redundancy strategies
• Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructures, such as AWS and MS Azure.
• Experience with scripting in bash, python, and PowerShell for automation of the processes.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Continuous in-house R&D to upgrade infrastructure and to roll out security patches.
• Good written/verbal communication and Strong interpersonal skills required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities with excellent troubleshooting skills
Technical Skills:
• CCNA R&S or CCNP R&S would be a plus.
• MCSE or RHCE.
• Virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V, Xen Center, VMware ESXi.
• Hands on experience in managing Linux-based production systems: Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS.
• Proven experience of Managing Email Exchange servers.
• In Depth knowledge of networking standards and protocols.,
• Directory Services deployment and management like Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policies.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining hardware/software firewalls, routing and switching L2 and L3 typologies and VPN Implementation.
• VPN connectivity troubleshooting and configuration (Cisco, SonicWall, OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec.
