An EdTech startup in Islamabad is looking for an expert WordPress developer, based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, who is capable of committing full-time/long-term. We are searching for one individual with at least 2 years of experience, who has strong communication skills, and can help us meet our needs, both functionally and aesthetically.
Qualifications:
- Experienced with WordPress for at least 2 years with a deep proficiency, including:
- Bug fixes, theme customizations, PHP updates, Analytics, plugins, Woo Commerce, LMS integration, forms (pre-built + custom), POS solution integration, building custom reports, Google Ads integration, UX/design updates, and more.
- Expertise with architectural changes and complex customizations.
- Integrate WordPress themes and plugins.
- Amazing problem solver.
- Willing to roll up sleeves to investigate issues and find solutions to complex problems, which includes but is not limited to;
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Responsibilities :
- Must have extensive knowledge in front-end technologies, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
- Respond to error codes and troubleshoot problems.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Punctual, responsive and capable of meeting deadlines 100% of the time.
- Provide training to other team members on WordPress and other plugins
