Position Title: e-Commerce logistics Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Key Relationships:

Internal - Operations Team, Sales & Customer Success, Customer Service Team

External - Couriers, Freight Forwarding Partners, Warehouse Partners

  • Manage eCommerce logistics B2C and B2B (Fruits & Vegetables) in warehouses and delivery in order to develop strategies to improve speed of orders and service quality by reducing costs
  • Develop and implement SOPs by Location
  • Develop and maintain periodic reports and KPIs
  • Play a critical role in P&L reviews and strategic planning/forecasting
  • Huge emphasis on increasing picking efficiency to increase operating margin for all e-commerce orders
  • Negotiate prices with service providers for warehouse operations and deliveries
  • Prepare bulk shipment quotes & manage freight bookings for clients
  • Track and trace shipments, recap weekly/monthly performance, customer/client support
  • Identify savings opportunities, implement process changes, and measure and report results

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in e-Commerce logistics
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing/Business Admin)
  • Strong proficiency in store and warehouse operations. Comprehensive understanding of e-Commerce and supply chain management
  • Relevant/related work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Clear and concise communication skills (excellent verbal, written and email communication skills, strong relation-building skills)
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting
  • Well organized and good follow up skills
  • Able to sense urgency and know when to escalate for assistance
  • Able to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers
