Job Description

  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Evaluate, implement and deploy new state-of-the art Backend technologies
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Integration of data storage solutions

Skills

  • Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one python framework such as Django, Flask
  • Familiarity with API creation and RESTful services
  • Familiarity with some ORM (would be an added advantage)
  • Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, Mercurial or SVN
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix Environment and commands will be a plus
  • Knowledge of web servers like Nginx and Apache will be a plus
