Mechanical Fitter

Karam Ceramics Limited is one of the leading companies in the ceramic industry, manufacturing wall & floor tiles. Job Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and trouble shooting of machines in shifts
Identify defective or worn components and equipment; repair and replace mechanical equipment to a high standard
Working knowledge of electrical systems, use of meters and testing devices
Maintenance of conveyor belts, drive systems and large compressors
Maintain a safe work environment by complying with site and company policies and procedures
Report to the Mechanical supervisors in the daily preventative maintenance of plant machinery and equipment

Qualifications

Diploma in a Mechanical Field and or relevant certification as a Mechanical Fitter/ Machinist
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a mechanical fitter in a manufacturing industry is required
Preventative maintenance experience
Installation and Service work experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work overtime and standby as and when required
