About our Team
The company is founded and led by an intriguing duo – one who is a technology entrepreneur and the other a retail veteran. As of May 2022, we are 60 people strong across Australia, Asia, and the US. About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a data and reporting specialist to work with our talented internal team and our customers who are leaders in retail industry both nationally and globally. This role is critical to the continued success of our solution and our customers.
Please bear in mind that this position requires working remotely following the AEDT (Australia Sydney/Melbourne) time zone during the probation period. Once your 6 month probation period is over, working hours may be flexible under manager's discretion.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Reporting and analytics for internal and external stakeholders
Providing ongoing and ad-hoc analytics support
Maintenance of existing reporting and tooling suites
Creation and maintenance of custom data scripts in python
Maintain & monitor customer data to ensure accuracy.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure data queries are resolved in timely manner.
The candidate must possess a relevant industry experience and a tertiary qualification in one of these domains: IT, engineering, mathematics or actuarial. The ideal candidate should be a team player and have great attention to details.
Skill and Requirements:
2+ years relevant professional experience.
Advanced SQL Skills for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation and implementing complex business rules logic
Power BI experience working with but not limited to: Power Query, DAX queries and functions, Workspaces, PBI Apps, PBI Data models, Dataflows, PBI Desktop & PBI Service
Experience creating, manipulating, and managing data structure in Python
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organised, able to multitask and manage priority well in a fast-paced environment.
