Company Description Kerlo Research is a New Jersey, USA-based Clinical Research Organization (SMO/CRO) with an overseas branch office in Defense, Karachi. We have an established network of more than 500 clinical sites across United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. We work with global pharmaceutical companies and CROs and provide clinical site management and related services.

The Role:

We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate / Business Coordinator to become part of our Clinical Operations team in Karachi. The CRA will be responsible for managing, implementing and monitoring clinical studies, with support, in a team setting according to KR SOPs, and all applicable rules and regulations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Major responsibilities:

Work directly with Principal Investigator and Sponsor teams to manage clinical site operations.

Identify/select an investigator who will be responsible for conducting the trial at the trial site.
Point of contact for clinical site questions relating to study protocol, FQs, start-up, budget, contract and similar documents.
Effectively build long-term relationships with existing sites in our clinical network and perform initial vetting on new sites joining our network.
Provide quality oversight to our Site management operations (SMO) and upcoming CRO projects with optimal execution.
Point of contact for all pharma and biotech communications and represent KR as the Study lead.
Responsible to work directly with US-based clinical sites on multiple studies and provide support with the overall study placement process.
Work under the close guidance of Clinical team lead and support Clinical Research Coordinators at KR owned and affiliated sites.
Engage clinical divisions of major pharmaceutical companies and build long-term relationships.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and responsibilities of increasing scope and complexity.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline or health care preferred but no necessary.

A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required. Preferably in pharmaceutical industry, but we also encourage fresh applicants.
Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language.
Prior work experience with a CRO/SMO highly desirable
Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and use of a laptop computer.
Ability to anticipate and timely escalate issues and to define appropriate action plans
Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Client Management skills.
