The Position holder should follow production plan, monitor operations and production, enforce quality, inspect material, and report to the higher management.

Adhere to production plans and implement it accordingly.
Monitor operations to ensure that they meet internal and external quality standards.
Enforce the quality standard and informed the line manager for any unremoved / removed discrepancies.
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
Accept or reject the raw material, intermediate process material and final product if they differ from the laid down standards.
Provide written report to the higher management regarding sub-standards products and materials.
Provide written report of inspection results to the higher management.
Ensure traceability of raw material/additives of the final products vis-a-vis supplier, operator and shift incharge.
