Job Role/Responsibility:

The main role/responsibility of merchandisers is to help both the customer and the production team through interactive way. 

Job Duties

  1. Costing for new inquiries
  2. Managing the approval of fabrics, lab dips, trims and samples
  3. Following up all sample flow including proto, fit, pre-production, production and salesman samples
  4. Work with Sales Manager/CEO to develop new clients by utilize market data
  5. Follow up with proto and PP samples and make sure everything is as per required specs.
  6. Ordering and chasing labels/trims where necessary
  7. Must be able to speak and communicate in English
  8. Develop reports and analyse them.
  9. Visiting suppliers and manufacturers, if necessary
  10. Creating size charts and garment specs where necessary
  11. Sourcing – develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing factories and suppliers
