Production Manager:

PM will be overall incharge of all production depts
Production manager is involved with the planning, coordination and control of all processes.
Production manager ensures that goods and services are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity and cost; they are produced on time and to the satisfaction of the customer
Daily and monthly production planning; chair daily production meeting and take immediate steps to resolve the issues.
Execute the production in the respective area in such a manner that the deliveries to Ware house are met as per requirement. (As per production plan)
Ensure that the workers are properly trained especially for those process which are critical to the quality of the product and provide them correct work instructions/relevant information (Training of staff)
Ensure that all jigs and tools which are used are calibrated according to procedure and all production related equipments is being maintained in good order. (Tools Maintenance)
Make daily / monthly reports on production, rejection and output to the production

Typical wok Activities:

Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
Ensuring that the production is cost effective; (without wastages, rejections)
Working out the human resources needed (As per approved strength)
Drafting a timescale for the job (Himself and all subordinates)
Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed with the approval of GM
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
Supervising and motivating a team of workers
Reviewing the performance of subordinates
