Tasks & Responsibilities

To Perform service activities efficiently and effectively including but not limited to installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, testing, and upgrade of Food & Beverages machines
To work on industrial equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo packs, etc., from different manufacturers. Modify or update program logic based on requirement of field service jobs
Work on commissioning, diagnosing, and troubleshooting of controllers and devices from various brands like Siemens, Schneider, Allan Bradley, Sick, Pilz, ASi, B&R, etc.
Perform diagnosis and maintain Industrial communication protocols for Automation system such as Profibus, Profinet, CAN, LAN, Industrial Field Bus, etc.
Able to work on innovative technologies in the field of advanced industrial automation, robotics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
To actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the technical experts
To support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards
To work independently and autonomously within the working environment
To submit timely complete service reports, timesheets, expense claims as per defined protocol
To follow the safety and hygienic regulations at customer site

Skill Requirement/Competencies

Strong knowledge of troubleshooting (problem solving techniques) machines/equipment and responding to customers’ concerns
Knowledge of profibus, profinet, CAN Bus & industrial Ethernet networks are mandatory. SIEMENS PLC and Allan Bradley PLC experience preferred.
Danfoss and B&R VFD experience preferred
Numerical reasoning ability, number system conversion (binary, decimal,hex)
Good interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to interact effectively with multicultural teams. Intermediate level of English - Report writing, email writing etc.
Foster and support positive working relationships with internal and external customers
Willingness to learn and attention to detail
Willing to travel inside and outside the country
