We are a fast-growing Internet company serving over 10,000 businesses in the US, Canada and Australia. Our development team is building a messaging platform for small to medium sized businesses using cutting edge technologies like real time communication, AI/NLP, streaming audio and video.

We are looking for an experienced mobile developer for our office in Karachi who could help us launch and maintain an Android mobile app. Candidate should be a proactive problem solver, excellent communicator with a thorough understanding of full mobile application development lifecycle and industry practices.

Ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Proficient with Android Studio with at least 2+ years of experience.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Should be able to work closely with Graphic design team and Quality Assurance team to build user interface to perfection.
Understanding of mobile logging, error handling, and mobile application life cycle
History of successfully working with a distributed team
Experience with a git-flow development process and good understanding of git as a source control tool
Experience with a JIRA-based workflow
Experience building mobile applications that gracefully handle degraded network conditions
Experience using push notifications (FCM)
