As WordPress Developer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, with WordPress themes and plugins. He/She must have a combination of programming skills (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred. Must have Experience with ThemeForest themes like Avada, Divi, and should be able to do customization in those themes.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Able to create any type of WordPress website from scratch with required plugins and extensions.-

Work with the relevant teams to gather requirements and implement new designs from initial concept, site architecture, layout and user interface through to finished deliverable.
General website maintenance.
Development or design of landing pages for strategic campaigns.
Help debug problems with existing WordPress plugins and setups.
Liaising with hosting service providers to ensure optimal delivery and performance of hosting environment for best results.
Initiate and deliver proactive strategies to improve user experience and deliver increased revenue.-
Optimise the site to attract and appeal to our core customers.
Own and track metrics relating to website performance and loading speeds.
Maintaining or updating websites in line with SEO & usability website optimisation guidelines.
Application of tracking code (e.g. Google Analytics).
Contribute to and improve internal tooling and processes.
Ensuring all work adheres to current industry best practice.
Perform tasks in accordance with Quality Management System

Qualifications:

To be successful for this role you will have:-
Appropriate degree and/or industry qualifications and certifications.
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Good understanding of crossbrowser issues.
Proficient in Wordpress, JavaScript, HTML and CSS for the purposes of building effective, attractive and SEO optimized WordPress websites.
3+ years of commercial WordPress experience.
3+ years of commercial experience in website design & layout design for responsive websites.
Hosting fundamentals including cPanel.
Server-side experience-Strong SEO and usability experience.-
A passion for technology
