IT Technician / IT Support

Determine and maintain all programs according to company and vendor standards.
Establish and ensure maintenance of notification according to requirements and monitor effects on system.
Inspect and recommend appropriate installation of operating systems and ensure better optimization process.
Analyze and identify all technical problems and provide consultation and training to help all users.
Assist users and provide Ubuntu, OSX, Windows and all mobile OS, printer and network break support.
Analyze IT network systems and ensure compliance to all IT standard practices for job.
Prepare and maintain all records and files in relation to IT assets, network performance and problems for all routers/switches, LAN and Linux servers.
Assist users and communicate all IT policies to users and ensure user compliance.
Develop and facilitate various initiatives to develop user compliance activities.
Implement and ensure upkeep of daily backups.
Computer Hardware & software installation and administration
Practice and follow ISO 9001 & 27001 standards to ensure compliance.

Understand the importance of client relationship environment.
Establish and maintain a strong and progressive work culture within the department.
Willing to learn new technologies.
Proactively handle and issues and concerns of users.
Maintain and Cover the technical processes and documentation diligently and on time

KEY SKILLS

SPECIALIZATION

HCSA, RHCSE or any relevant vendor certification.
Strong system/servers and network troubleshooting skills.
Good understanding of RAID, design and operation
Ability to architect and drive change
Ability to lead in a global environment
A flexible team player with a proven ability to work successfully in a matrix-reporting environment.
MUST have the profound knowledge about domain based environment.

TECHNICAL

Sound knowledge of System and Network concepts
Windows Administration Experience with Windows Server 2008 and 2012
Working experience with Apple Mac.
Knowledge of Network Monitoring Tools both Windows and Linux based.
Knowledge of Cabling, Patch panel, Switch Administration and Troubleshooting Techniques.
Must have a college education with an under graduate or post graduate degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and interact with different stakeholders in global settings
Must have knowledge about linux scripting. Hands-on experience will be plus
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, having a passion for learning
Be able to train other resources.
Willingness to travel
Willingness to learn
