Senior UI / UX Designer

Virtual Force is a Technology Advisory, Innovation, Design and Engineering platform that builds next generation software products for enterprises and founders. We have solved complex technology rollout and growth problems for our clients in Health Tech, FinTech, Ed Tech, Artificial Intelligence, BlockChain and Digital Transformation Verticals.

Virtual Force is looking for a UI/UX Designer to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UI/UX and other technical projects is essential.Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research and testing of mobile applications, websites and software to Assess user experience and ease of design
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to management
Develop wireframes and task flows based on user needs
Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
Collaborate with products and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software
Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers, marketing, products, and test groups
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Create personas through user research and data
Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Keep well-informed of competitor products and industry trends

Requirement:

Proven experience of 7-10 years as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
Strong portfolio of design projects and experience creating storyboards and website mapping
Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe XD, Invision, UXPin, Balsamiq, and others)
Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and others
Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
