Role:

To coordinate with Supply chain/planning to optimize inventory level to minimize the investment in Inventories
Safeguarding of inventory which is related directly to core business activity
Devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures
Proper management of stock in warehouses/Stores
To comply with the standard operating procedure in their day to day activity
Identification of Pilferages and wastages in Inventory
Manage human costs, personnel productivity, inventory levels, data accuracy and stocking strategies
Getting the monthly, quarterly, annually internal and third party audit cleared from all observations
Ensuring maximum and efficient use of Oracle (ERP) solutions and warehouse management systems (WMS) proper management of stock in warehouse / stores
Suggest ways and means to organize and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling , maintaining labelling on each stock item.
