Laazmi is a UK headquartered premium food gifts marketplace connecting local and international Pakistani customers to boutique food businesses in Pakistan. The platform allows chefs and bakers to sign-up seamlessly and operates an online shop with complete autonomy. The platform provides customers with unique and premium quality food gifting options that are otherwise hard to find and pay for, especially if you are an overseas Pakistani. With integrated credit card/debit card and Paypal payments, the customers can order various food items and gift baskets, both in savoury and sweet categories. Laazmi.com was launched in Islamabad/Pakistan in January 2021 and has shown significant growth in the first six months of its operations. Laazmi also launched to international overseas Pakistanis and extended operations in Lahore in May 2021 due to substantial interest in the platform. We are now looking to accelerate our growth in Islamabad and Lahore and extend functions in other main cities of Pakistan. The Laazmi team is based in London and Islamabad – we are a passionate group of co-founders, software engineers, product managers and operations specialists to provide Pakistanis with premium quality food and exceptional customer service. We are now looking for an outstanding Digital Marketing and Operations Manager to join the team to fuel this growth. This role will report directly to the CEO of Laazmi.

Responsibilities:

Lead on developing and executing Laazmi’s marketing strategy, including digital and social marketing.
Manage daily orders to ensure orders are delivered to customers on time, and chefs get paid regularly.
Actively market Laazmi on digital marketing channels.
Onboard new chefs and customers.
Maintain Laazmi website content, including the deals section and ensuring chefs’ pages are up-to-date.
Negotiate offers with chefs and include in deals section and marketing.
Ongoing product testing on new features and reporting bugs to the engineering team.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

At least one year of experience in operations and digital marketing.
Proficient in Facebook and Instagram marketing.
Proficient in using digital tools such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable in managing operations involving people and finances.
Independent thinker who can work under pressure.
MBA is preferred

Role Location:

Remote working is expected, with at least a few hours per day overlap with UK times. The weekend will be Friday and Saturday.

Salary:

Base salary is Rs. 60,000. Performance bonus of up to 10% of yearly salary

Holidays:

Laazmi provides 24 days annual leave, which is accrued with each month worked. The leave accrual commences after the probation period.
