Experienced and qualified Mandarin teacher required for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program

Role & Responsibilities:

Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed
Teach Mandarin in a way that is compatible with the teaching method and education principles
Prepare and teach Mandarin in line with the integrated nature of the IB curriculum
Make effective use of assessment information when planning lessons
Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching
Have a working knowledge of teacher’s professional duties and legal liabilities
Proven track-record or demonstrated potential of good teaching skill
Display enthusiasm, understanding and commitment to ensure the children’s experiences are positive and underpin their educational lives
Have good spoken and written communication skills
Good computer skills
