Job Responsibilities:

Assist the line manager in checking-in, checking-out and circulation of library materials.
Maintain record of library data and library material by utilizing library software system and acting upon it.
Train and supervise library clerks in their job duties.
Assist readers in finding books and help students and faculty members in research problems and reference questions.
Maintain the library in the absence of the Chief Librarian.
Address administrative issues like collecting fines and managing reservations etc.
Maintain library inventory, perform stock checks, and prepare item list for removal, relocation and binding.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters / Bachelors in Library Information Sciences with 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in a medical college environment.
