Responsible to provide strong support to the Director’s on a day-to-day basis with the development and implementation of a growth strategy for the business.
Lead the entire team with no biasness and all aspects of financial management.
Enhance and implement fit for purpose financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems to support a growing agile retail business.
Assist and direct the business to implement effective control processes to safeguard assets, maintain integrity in the accounts and financial reports and mitigate fraud potential.
Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation.
Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
Supervise accounts officers and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.
Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants.
Prepare, Update and implement financial policies and procedures, also maintain regular financial planning reports.
Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management and Retail Accounting functions.
Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the ELT
Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
Responsible to manager the financial matters to the Retail Outlet.
Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
Establish and implement a training program for new finance employees.
Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards.
Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information.
Responsible for all the verbal queries and email & response on daily basis.
In case of Tax Return and other assignments, all staff are liable to sit and do their part of work as instructed by department manager and Approved by the Directors.
Any other task assigned by the department manager or directors.
