Video Editor Job Description

We are looking for an organised and creative editor to work with our creative team to plan and edit video content according to client briefs. The editor responsibilities include ensuring that client’s brand and integrity is maintained while also managing their editing pipeline and meeting realistic deadlines for post-production.

To be successful as an editor you must be able to understand client branding and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good editor should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable. This individual must be social media savvy in order to create content that is attention-grabbing, edgy and represents the client’s personality and brand.

It’s equally important that our editors are excellent at building client relationships including handling uncomfortable situations, putting clients at ease and communicating clearly and effectively to get results.

Skills Required:

· Must have a reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities

· Must own and be proficient with Premiere Pro and After Effects

· Able to work with After Effects templates and create custom graphics

· Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure

· Must know how to work with green screen backgrounds and edit with green screen footage

· Candidates having 3+ year experience should apply with their updated profile.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

· Must have a computer, required editing software & workstation setup.

· Completes all assigned tasks

· Stays on track to meet deadlines

· Produces client ready content by reviewing and finalizing before approval submission

· Oversees the production of closed captions for Marketing and Communications video

· Attends zoom meetings with Winnors. Media team and clients.
