We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and experienced QA specialist who can work in a fast-paced environment on FinTech use case(s). Although it’s not a requirement, candidates having a background in the financial industry will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Must be familiar with automation tools
Generating automation test script both with the record and play tool and scripting manually
Preparing test automation scenarios, defining logical assertions for catching bugs
Suggesting test automation strategies plans at the time of needs
Maintaining automation scripts
Reporting the automated test results
Testing applications in client/server and performing tests on all platforms
Participating in Specifications Review, Test Planning, Creation and Execution of Test Cases, Defect Reporting and Defect Verification
Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback
Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
Executing end-to-end, regression and acceptance tests
Recording and tracking defects
Generating reports and providing test metrics
Assisting the development team in bug fixing
Skills/Requirements:
Good Knowledge on different Testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing
Experience of working on high-traffic and large-scale software products
Programming background in JAVA will be preferred
Knowledge of iOS, Android and web-based application testing
Experience with query tools and ability to write SQL queries
Experience testing in Agile/Scrum based projects
Excellent Functional Testing skills
Ability to develop robustly, optimized test scripts that catch bugs along with automating regular business workflow
