- Maintain and update cashbook after getting the relevant information of all inflows from the Operations department and send to the Outsourced Accounting team to close the party ledgers.
- Reconciliation of cashbook with bank statement daily and sending the bank position per bank to the Regional Treasury. Coordination with banks for all day to day matters and transactions.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in managing the FX risk and Credit risk of the entity. Also, manage to allocate FX and Interest per commodity.
- Reviewing the payment voucher prepared by the Outsourced Accounting team and confirm that the payment is in line with the approval, invoice including the tax deduction before processing it through Chq., letter or through online banking.
- Calculating the monthly Opex accruals, MTM of the stock and open contracts for all commodities and sending it to the Outsourced Accounting team for closing.
- Preparing daily Adhoc profit & loss for cotton and sending to regional management after reconciling with the position and getting it validated by the commercial team.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in the review of all the closing process including Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and PL sent by the Outsourced team and reporting it in Magnitude (Group Reporting Software).
- Declaring all trades with the Counterparties in ICS software and reconcile differences if any.
- Preparing monthly reporting file/slides to Regional Controlling for monthly review and updating the comments for Opex for any variations between Actual v Budget or Reforecast.
