We are looking for a skilled SQA/ Automation tester to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, a passion for quality, and a desire to make a positive impact on our products.
The SQA/ Automation tester will be responsible for defining, implementing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases and test automation tools/scripts to ensure software is delivered with high quality. The SQA/ Automation tester is required to have good communication with the team and customers, and a strong technical background in terms of successfully developing, managing and implementing product test script libraries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source or SQA tools.
- Responsible in managing all forms of testing – functional/feature, integration, load, regression, browser and device scenarios.
- Responsible to design and implement end-to-end test scripts from User-Interface through to back-office technology.
- Responsible to continuously build and improve the product tests, ensuring it is up-to-date with all scenarios and test cases
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Working an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Accountable to monitor performance and benchmarking test results
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Executing test plans, reporting software bugs, reproducing problems reported by customers, and verifying software bug fixes from development.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Good Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills.
Experience with all phases of the testing lifecycle with a strong focus on requirement analysis, gap analysis, test case creation and execution.
