• Planning and executing an efficient and effective Financial aid (FA) strategy each year
  • Preparing financial aid cases of students and present them to the Financial Aid Committee
  • Coordinating Financial Aid Committee meetings
  • Taking meeting minutes and keeping record of all meetings, cases and relevant correspondence
  • Presenting OFA policies and procedures to various stakeholders and public
  • Managing students’ fee installment and deadline extension requests
  • Working on prevailing database systems to keep FA data reliable and secure
  • Handling different external and internal scholarship programs
  • Ensuring effective implementation of financial aid policies, procedures and overseeing routine office operations
  • Working on different policies and procedures
  • Preparing reports and data for all stakeholders
  • Working with the offices of the Vice Chancellor, Deans and other stakeholders for the execution of an effective FA disbursement policy
  • Providing support to students and guide them regarding available funding options, application process and payment plans
  • Prepare and provide reports to NOP Center, Accounts Office, Registrar Office, Donors,  VC Office, MKTG Office and other areas according to their requirements
  • Effectively managing and developing OFA team
  • Corresponding with applicants, students, donors and various offices at LUMS in an effective manner
  • Monitor student financial aid plans and assist with necessary changes and updates
  • Help and counsel students to determine their financial need
  • Conduct interviews of parents and students to determine their financial need;
  • Taking full charge of given duties and contribute effectively towards the progress of OFA
  • Developing and updating Financial related print material, web information and social media on regular basis
  • Manage and arrange physical verification activity for students who have applied for aid
  • Taking initiative to make OFA operations effective and efficient.
