Position Purpose:
The Program Manager will be managing the overall project including hiring of staff, budget management, management of internal operations and other project related tasks. S/he will also ensure project deadlines are met.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• The Program Manager will coordinate and liaise with the various departments in LUMS to ensure smooth running of SOE internal operations.
• S/he will maintain schedules and track progress of deliverables in all aspects of the programme.
• S/he will assist the Dean SOE and Associate Director SOE in making and managing yearly budgets.
• S/he will coordinate with LUMS Finance and Accounts to manage all project expenditure and finance reporting.
• S/he will coordinate with LUMS HR to manage SOE HR related tasks including, but not limited to, hiring staff, drafting staff job descriptions and contracts
• S/he will coordinate with LUMS Procurement to ensure effective procurement management.
• S/he will assist the Dean SOE and Associate Director SOE to identify programme needs in terms of external services and supplies.
• S/he will manage meetings, take notes, develop summary documents and reports.
• S/he will manage project to school transition of the LUMS School of Education, including managing special projects such as transition to allocated space/ building for SOE.
