Position Purpose:All kinds of video editing for marketing purposes and for the University as per client requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
Footage reviews, Trim footage segments and put together for required finished product mainly for digital platforms
SFX includes, Input music, dialogues, graphics and other effects. Broadly to work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
Writing and ensuring quality of voiceover/commentary/transcriptions for subtitles
Basic knowledge of sound/music creation and manipulation.
Basic skill of Project Management to handle simultaneous projects to ensure smooth running
Communication expectation to consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new / evolving editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Proven work experience as a video editor
Should be comfortable working with both MAC and Windows OS.
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adopt Pack includes; Premiere, After Effects and other related tools like Final Cut, Tools for Animations or Sound editing)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 2D/3D and compositing
Should be skilled enough to work on 100% 2D animation pieces
Creative mind and storytelling skills
