Build the digital portfolio of LUMS through videos in key university genres and position LUMS as a world class research university.

Main Responsibilities:

Sound knowledge of marketing briefs and understanding video briefs to meet the client requirements and expectations on video projects and their production
Manage complete video projects alone; from concept to production to post production and the finished product. Aware of AV board. Mood board, scripting and various stages of video production
Deliver videos products for digital platforms like YouTube and Facebook
Work on footage reviews, trim footage segments and finalize editing for the required finished product for digital platforms
Writing and ensuring quality of voiceover/commentary/transcriptions for subtitles
Work on basic sound/music handling, creation and manipulation
Continuously discover and implement new/evolving editing technologies and industry’s best practices to produce high quality videos that position LUMS as a world class university
Understand university video portfolios and work accordingly to produce high quality videos in desired genres to meet required objectives

Skills:

Technical Skills:

Proven work experience in videography and video editing
Should be comfortable working with both MAC and Windows OS
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adopt Pack includes; Premiere, After Effects and other related tools like Final Cut, Tools for Animations or Sound editing)
SFX includes; Input music, dialogues, graphics and other effects. Broadly to work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 2D/3D and compositing
Should be skilled enough to work completely on 2D animation or Motion Graphic Pieces
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Very strong project management skills to handle simultaneous projects with the required priorities and timelines. Should be able to respond to demanding work hours
