Maavan Software is looking for a Project manager who has strong team management and communication skills.

We are a fast-growing, California based company and pride ourselves in paying an excellent salary package because we value good talent.

In addition to an excellent base salary, we offer other generous incentives in our pay package.

Responsibilities:

Coach and mentor team members.
Make sure team is making good progress on deadlines given by client.
Ensure team is delivering quality builds within the deadline.
Create strong bonding between team members and encourage a productive work environment.
Facilitate internal communication and be the main point of contact for stakeholders i.e. Client, CEO, Account Manager etc.
Be proactive in resolving conflicts and obstacles that may occur.
Frequently communicate with client to get feedback about team member’s progress.
Do regular meetings with each team member.

Requirements:

2 years of experience in Project Management of IT projects.
BS or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field.
Experience in working with international clients and understanding their culture.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Practical understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Technical background or understanding of different phases of the software development process.
Ability to handle pressure in critical situations and be able to manage teams effectively without creating unnecessary stress.
