SEO Specialist

Markalytics is a Canada-based Digital Agency, working in the eCommerce & B2B space. It is currently looking for a Full-time Onpage,Offpage, Technical SEO Skills, to support its marketing and business initiatives. The SEO Specialist will work 40-hours per week at the Marklaytics regional office located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

SALARY: From PKR 45,000 (To be assessed on the basis of relevant experience & Interview)PRIMARY WORK:

We are looking for an SEO/SEM expert to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also overlook all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
Conduct full-scale Technical SEO Audits & customize Reporting for clients
Research and analyze competitor keywords and gap analysis
Develop and implement link building strategy + Guest Posts plan
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Software Engineering, Computer Science, quantitative, test-driven or related field)
Proven SEO experience
In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

OTHER DUTIES:

Organization & Project Management: Use excel sheets and other tools to keep track of all work, and establish priorities to deadlines.
Communicate and coordinate the delivery of projects, maintaining a high level of organization to ensure deliverables are completed.

EXPERIENCE:

2-3 years SEO writing experience ; Agency experience preferred.
Relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fresh grads are also encouraged to apply.
Freelancing experience is also preferred.
Proven experience in using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Aherfs, Screaming Frog, SpyFu, Outreach, Surfer
