UI / UX Developer / Architect

Markalytics is a Canada-based Digital Agency, working in the eCommerce & B2B space. It is currently looking for a Full-time UI/UX Designer with up-to-date knowledge of design softwares like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as WebFlow. The UI/UX Designer will work 40-hours per week at the Marklaytics regional office located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

SALARY: From PKR 55,000 (To be assessed on the basis of relevant experience & Interview)

PRIMARY WORK:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn eCommerce websites into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, wireframes, and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, buttons, and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields, fully customizable elements
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like. Work closely with our clients and carry out needs assessment during meetings.
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Design, Computer Science or relevant field)
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects (Highly preferred)
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills & multi-tasking.
eCommerce websites UI/UX experience will be highly appreciated.

OTHER DUTIES:

Organization & Project Management: Use excel sheets and other tools to keep track of all work, and establish priorities to deadlines.
Communicate and coordinate the delivery of projects, maintaining a high level of organization to ensure deliverables are completed.

EXPERIENCE:

2-3 years UI/UX Designing experience ; Agency experience preferred.
Relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fresh grads are also encouraged to apply.
Freelancing experience is also preferred.
