Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Responsible to carry out preventive/corrective maintenance as per maintenance guidelines and best practices to ensure the maximum equipment reliability
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems
Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime
Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating supervisors and repair services
Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties
Ensure things are done according to their SOPs.
Ensure communication with the production department.
Conduct meetings with maintenance department and admin to see the progress
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting · Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
Supervise maintenance department for smooth execution of work processes and update to higher management.
Stay up to date with latest maintenance processes management best practices and concepts
Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
Any other task that may be assigned by the management regarding development & maintenance.
